Matteo Vanotti is a Swiss farmer, engineer and entrepreneur. He holds a degree in electrical engineering, a master's degree in industrial engineering (ETH Zurich) and has more than ten years of experience as a consultant in the FinTech sector. In addition, he follows the family farm in Northern Italy, where he realised the need for new digital tools for efficient business management. Therefore, he founded the startup xFarm in 2017 and is currently the CEO of xFarm Technologies, a technology company focused on offering an app for the sustainable 360° management of farms and the digitisation of agri-food supply chains. The services of xFarm Technologies are developed by more than 130 people and used by more than 300,000 farmers worldwide.
